Back in the dusty days of 2011, Tiburoni released the first volume of the Skweee Shanties compilations. The comp featured a cheeky wee devil of a tune called “Dirty Clap” from the highlander himself: Radio Skotvoid. This latest joint release from RSVP and Tiburoni celebrates not just one or two but THIRTEEN different takes on the that track! A few Tiburoni regulars and some very special guests take part in the remix duties and to top it all off, the original track has been updated and treated to an amazing vocal addition from the one and only Reachout.
Now based in Boston, Scotty is well known as the host of this year’s legendary Curios radio show on datafruits.fm . The show is on a well deserved hiatus right now, but Radio Skotvoid is deep in the studio coming up with some new jams. Until then, break open this grab bag of goodies and savour the flavour!

Long time TIBURONI player VERKTYGET lashes out with his debut EP: SNUSLEXIA. Our man in BEIJING pulls out all the stoppers with 4 rough and ready tracks that encompass his feelings towards LIFE, LIBERTY and a heavy SNUS ADDICTION. Drawing influences from 80′s POP and ELECTRO, 90′s DUB and DANCEHALL, 00′s SKWEEE and 10′s [whatever-comes-next], SNUSLEXIA represents exactly what we here at TIBURONI are all about. Tiburoni is very proud to present it’s first ever 7″ vinyl release in the form of the “AM Pear / White Paint EP”.
Coming straight outta Barcelona, our man Fitzroy North has put together a double a-sided stonker: one side features the ever popular “AM Pear”, this one was specifically requested for the vinyl after doing some dancefloor damage with it’s catchy vocals and winding synths. On the flip we have “White Paint”, an equally funky number with those 80′s chord stabs that get you smiling each time you hear it!
As if that wasn’t enough, the digital downloads come with some very special remixes, Digi G serves up a double helping of craziness with his take on both jams, Niño brings some more grown-up flavours with his “White Paint” remix and we finish off with a RPG-H8R mindmelt of “AM Pear”.

Here is the long awaited second installment of the Skweee Shanties… We’ve pulled out all the stops and other choice clichés to bring you some of the finest talent from the far-flung regions of Earth. As usual we’ve tried to include something for everyone here, from the manic joystick-funk of Johnny Superglu to the breezy tickled ivory of (nit)neroc, from some ghetto fabulous flavours courtesy of Digi G’Alessio to a double helping from the ever-mysterious hieroglyphical medicine man Laas Gaal to Ullbasunen’s kindergarten-killer kut, plus more grooves from all the usual ne’er-do-wells that are a part of la familia Tiburoni.
This is the second in a planned 3 part series of compilations. Last time we promised to put the Shanties out on wax, this idea is still in the pipeline, however we’ve decided to wait until after the 3rd comp and do a “Best Of The Shanties LP”.
